Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University (BRABU), Muzaffarpur, has announced that the undergraduate 6th-semester examinations for the 2023-27 session will commence on September 5, 2026. To regularize the academic calendar, the university administration is conducting these exams prior to the release of the 5th-semester results.

The evaluation of answer sheets for the 5th semester is currently ongoing, which will be followed by tabulation and result publication. According to Exam Controller Prof. Arvind Kumar, a major reason for the delay is that nearly 3,000 students have not yet completed their mandatory 5th-semester internships. Since internship credits and marks must be added to the final result, colleges failing to submit these marks have stalled the process. Students taking the 6th-semester exam without completing their internship will not receive a cleared final result until the requirement is fulfilled.

Degree and Certificate Distribution

To clear the massive backlog of pending academic documents, the BRABU examination department operated during holidays to process records. The university successfully prepared 2,000 pending degrees and dispatched 2,500 provisional certificates and mark sheets to respective colleges for distribution.
