IBPS conducts the Common Recruitment Process (CRP) annually to recruit candidates for Customer Service Associates (Clerical cadre) in participating public sector banks across India.

The selection will be based on performance in the Online Preliminary and Online Main examinations. Final selection and provisional allotment will be made strictly on the basis of the marks obtained in the Main Examination.

IBPS CSA XVI Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who meet the following age, educational, and linguistic requirements can apply:

1. Age Limit (As of 01.08.2026)

• Minimum Age: 20 years
• Maximum Age: 28 years

Age Relaxation:

• SC / ST: 5 years
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
• PwBD: 10 years

2. Educational Qualification (As of 21.08.2026)

• A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Government of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
• The final result must be declared on or before August 21, 2026.

3. Computer Literacy

• Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory. Candidates should have a Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language OR should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in High School/College/Institute.

4. Local Language Proficiency

• Candidates should be proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the official language of the State/UT for which they are applying.
