Key Highlights & Admission Process
As per DSW Prof. Om Prakash Rai:
- Total Applications Received: The university received nearly 19,000 applications under the On-Spot admission process. This includes approximately 5,000 new applicants and about 14,000 existing candidates who modified their college/subject preferences.
- Admissions Confirmed So Far: Around 11,000 students have already secured admission in previous merit rounds.
- Equal Opportunity for All: The university administration is making arrangements to ensure that all remaining candidates who missed earlier merit rounds or could not get their preferred college/subject get a seat based on merit and seat availability.
- Merit-Based Selection: Admissions will be granted strictly on the basis of the student’s academic merit and seat availability across constituent and affiliated colleges in four districts (Bhojpur, Buxar, Rohtas, and Kaimur).

Candidates who get selected in the On-Spot Merit List on October 22 must visit their allotted college with original and photocopies of the following documents:
- Printout of On-Spot Selection / Merit Allotment Letter
- Printout of VKSU Application Form
- Class 10th Marksheet & Passing Certificate
- Class 12th (Intermediate) Marksheet & Admit Card
- Original School/College Leaving Certificate (SLC/CLC)
- Migration Certificate (if applicable)
- Caste / Category Certificate (if applicable)
- Recent Passport-size Photographs
- Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar Card, etc.)

- Enter your Application Number / User ID and Password.
- Access your dashboard and click on Selection Status / Merit List.
