Key Changes in VKSU PhD Admission Process (New Regulations)

As per Controller of Examinations Prof. Lal Babu Singh, the university has made historic changes to the Ph.D. enrollment process under the new Raj Bhavan Ordinance:

• No Separate PAT Test: VKSU will no longer conduct its own separate Ph.D. Admission Test (PAT) exam. Admissions will be governed based on national-level examination scores.
• Priority to JRF Holders: Top priority in seat allocation will be given to candidates who have qualified for the UGC-NET JRF (Junior Research Fellowship).
• UGC-NET Qualified Candidates: Candidates who have cleared UGC-NET will be considered next for remaining vacant seats.
• Merit-Based Selection: A unified merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in UGC-NET/JRF national level exams, followed by guide and topic allocation.
