Magadh University PhD Entrance Urdu Syllabus

Time: 3 Hours

Full Marks: 100 Marks

Paper-I

There shall be seventy objective type questions concerning general awareness of Post Graduate level out of which fifty are to be answered carrying two marks each.

Questions will be of multiple choice, matching type, true & false, assertions and will cover origin & development of the language and literature including its History (Urdu and allied subjects) and all its Asnaf of Prose and Poetry.

Paper-II

This paper will consist of Ten descriptive type question out of which five are to be answered having 20 (twenty) marks each. Stress should be given on Research Methodology. All descriptive questions will cover the M.A. Urdu syllabus and standard.
